A beautiful day in the Dyfi Valley. There aren’t many advantages to being self employed and far from being financially buoyant, but at least I can leap on my bike when the mood takes me. Today was stunning and this little section close to the top of the Lambert’s descent is one of my favourites.

Thinking about this years Coed y Brenin enduro. It kind of book ends the year, doesn’t it?

Dyfi Enduro 2012. T minus 3 minutes and counting….

Those afraid of the universe as it really is, those who pretend to nonexistent knowledge and envision a Cosmos centered on human beings will prefer the fleeting comforts of superstition.

The ‘beer stop and disco’ on the Dyfi Enduro, brought joy and disbelief in equal measure.

Race day at Coed y Brenin. The gravity enduro hits the forest, trouble is so did the wind and rain. Well do to all who endured the Enduro, a true feat.

Hey guys, if the enduro is on 6th may, does that mean the climachx will be closed on 5th in preparation??

The Climachx will be open to all throughout the Enduro event

Thanks

Mach 2 section still closed.
So, as the forestry work continues on a small section of the renowned and much loved Mach2 route, I wouldn’t suggest for a minute that you cycle the route at the weekend when the monster machines aren’t crunching their way through the trees. If you did happen to mistakenly find yourself there, you may find that the route is almost entirely clear and you could ride through. Only don’t, as it’s closed. Obviously.
The section is due to re-open on July 24th.
